I just got interviewed by Geo TV on the impeachment of Musharraf. They asked what I thought will happen from here. I said no one really knows but Musharraf won’t budge easily. A lot depends upon what the Army and the US does. No doubt Musharraf is counting his allies as we speak. More importantly, will the situation change for the common man even if he goes?

Speaking of the common man, I was buying vegetables when they interviewed me (it was a random thing). After they left, Taufeeq, one of the vegetable sellers, asked me what all the commotion was about. I explained it was about the impeachment of Musharraf and he, along with another man working there (I think his name was Rashid) said roughly what I did. But they wondered why the TV crew didn’t interview them.
